Become a qualified LTA Padel Instructor at GrassRoots Padel
We're really excited to share that Grassroots Padel is hosting a closed LTA Level 2 Padel Instructor course, running from 8th September to 23rd October 2026.
This matters to us because it’s in our name. We believe padel grows from the ground up, and that means growing our own coaches too! Supporting you through this qualification is how we invest in our club, and in the future of the game.
Why get involved
Beyond the qualification itself, we're keen to employ qualified coaches who complete this course and are looking for work afterwards. If you've ever thought about coaching padel, whether as a new career path or alongside what you already do, this is a genuine route in, with a job opportunity at the other end for the right people.
Course details
Dates: Tuesday 8th Sept, Tuesday 15th Sept, Monday 28th Sept, Tuesday 6th Oct, Friday 23rd Oct 2026
Times: 8am–4pm (except 28th September, which runs 9am–2pm)
Cost: £600 for the Core Training and face-to-face elective combined (reduced from the usual £700 for our group)
Location: Grassroots Padel, Wimbledon Park
Before you can start
There are a couple of things you'll need in place before the course begins:
LTA Padel Instructor Readiness Test: £45 (waived only for players ranked in the Top 100 of the Open Rankings), booked via the LTA Find a Course page
Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List: applied for within the last 12 months through the LTA, unless you're already LTA Accredited
You'll also need a 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work course before progressing to your final assessment - this can be booked separately, and we'll share timing on that soon.
Why we need you to act quickly
We need a minimum of 6 coaches signed up with all of the above in place by Friday 28th August, just a week before the course starts, for it to go ahead, and we can take up to 8! Please don't leave this until the last minute: the Readiness Test and DBS check both take time to arrange, so the sooner you start, the better your chances of securing your place.
