Level 1: Beginner
ELO Rating: 0.0 – 2.0
Learning basic shots, serving and scoring.
Short rallies with limited control and consistency.
Beginning to understand positioning and the use of glass.
Level 2: Improver
ELO Rating: 2.0 – 3.0
Basic understanding and use of the glass.
Implements appropriate court positioning and moving as a pair.
Advances to the net.
Level 3: Intermediate
ELO Rating: 3.0 – 3.5
Consistent with the back of the court and comfortable using the glass.
Uses volleys, lobs and basic overheads with control.
Understands when to attack, defend and move to the net.
Level 4: Advanced Intermediate
ELO Rating: 3.5 – 4.0
Consistent under pressure with few unforced errors.
Uses bandeja/vibora and defends more difficult wall rebounds.
Constructs points tactically and identifies space and opponents weaknesses.
Level 5: Advanced
ELO Rating: 4.0 – 4.5
Strong control of pace, spin, placement and attacking shots.
Confident in both defence and attack, including at higher speeds.
Works effectively with a partner to control space and dominate at the net.
Level 6: Elite
ELO Rating: 4.5 – 5.5
Possesses exceptional game reading and anticipation.
Turns defensive wall-rebounds into aggressive, point-reversing counter-attacks.
Consistently and decisively terminates points at the net with powerful overhead smash mechanics.
